Collector Terms

These Collector Terms (“Collector Terms”) govern purchases, deposits, reservations, fulfillment, and ownership of photographic works offered through Where Things Meet, presented and operated by JFP DreamWorks LLC (“JFP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing an artwork, placing a deposit, or otherwise confirming an order, you agree to these Collector Terms.

1. The Artwork

Where Things Meet offers photographic works by Jordi-Lakeem Foster in designated sizes, editions, and configurations.

The specific artwork, size, edition type, price, framing or presentation option, and other applicable details will be identified at the time of purchase.

Availability is subject to the applicable edition and inventory.

2. Editions

Certain photographic works may be offered in open, limited, exhibition, collector, or other designated editions.

Where an artwork is sold as a numbered limited edition, the edition size represents the maximum number of numbered works intended to be produced within that specific edition, excluding any artist proofs or other separately designated proofs where applicable.

Edition numbers may be assigned according to JFP's established collector records and are not necessarily assigned according to the chronological order in which purchases are made.

Once a numbered edition has been fully allocated, additional works will not be produced within that same numbered edition.

3. Certificates of Authenticity

Where applicable, collector works will include a Certificate of Authenticity (“COA”) documenting identifying information about the artwork and its edition.

The COA forms part of the provenance record associated with the physical work.

Collectors should retain the original COA with their records.

Loss or destruction of a COA does not automatically entitle the collector to a replacement. Any request for replacement documentation will be reviewed individually and may require verification of ownership.

4. Pricing

Artwork prices are those communicated or displayed at the time an order is confirmed.

Prices may change for future purchases based on edition availability, production costs, market positioning, or other considerations.

A later change in the price of an artwork does not alter the price of a previously completed purchase.

Applicable sales tax, delivery, shipping, framing, installation, or other charges may be added where identified during the transaction.

5. Deposits and Reservations

Where JFP permits an artwork to be secured with a deposit, the required deposit amount will be communicated before payment.

A deposit reserves the applicable artwork or edition allocation for the purchaser subject to these Collector Terms.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the remaining balance must be paid by the payment deadline communicated at the time of purchase.

Production and fulfillment may not begin until the required payment conditions have been satisfied.

Failure to pay the remaining balance by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation and release of the artwork or edition allocation.

Any refundability or forfeiture conditions applicable to a deposit should be communicated at the time the deposit is accepted.

6. Final Payment

An artwork is not considered fully purchased until JFP has received all amounts due for the order.

Ownership of the physical artwork transfers to the collector only after full payment has been received and any applicable transaction requirements have been satisfied.

JFP may withhold production, shipment, delivery, or release of an artwork while an outstanding balance remains.

7. Made-to-Order Production

Certain collector works may be produced specifically after an order is placed.

Because these works may be printed, framed, finished, or otherwise prepared specifically for the collector, production times will vary.

Any fulfillment estimate provided is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date unless JFP expressly agrees to a guaranteed date in writing.

Delays caused by printers, framers, carriers, suppliers, material availability, weather, or circumstances outside JFP's reasonable control may affect fulfillment.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.

8. Framing and Presentation

Where framing or another presentation option is included or purchased, the applicable specifications will be communicated as part of the order.

Natural variations in materials, manufacturing, finishing, and craftsmanship may occur and are not necessarily defects.

Frames, mats, glazing, mounting, and other presentation materials may differ slightly from digital representations or physical samples because of material availability and production variation.

If a specified material becomes unavailable, JFP will communicate any material substitution that would meaningfully alter the agreed presentation.

9. Color and Physical Appearance

Photographic works viewed on phones, computers, tablets, or other digital displays may appear different from the physical artwork.

Differences in screen calibration, lighting, paper, printing processes, framing, texture, and scale can affect appearance.

Reasonable variation between a digital preview and the finished physical work does not, by itself, constitute a defect.

10. Delivery, Pickup, and Shipping

Fulfillment may occur through personal delivery, local pickup, third-party delivery, or shipping depending on the order and collector location.

Any applicable shipping or delivery charges will be communicated where required.

Collectors are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for promptly notifying JFP of changes before shipment.

Once an artwork has been transferred to a carrier, tracking or delivery information may be provided when available.

11. Inspection and Damage

Collectors should inspect an artwork promptly after receiving it.

If an artwork arrives materially damaged, the collector should contact JFP as soon as reasonably possible at:

The collector may be asked to provide photographs of the artwork, packaging, shipping label, and visible damage so that JFP can evaluate the issue and, where appropriate, pursue a carrier or production claim.

Collectors should retain the original packaging until a damage claim has been resolved.

Remedies for verified production or transit damage may include repair, replacement, reprinting, or another reasonable solution depending on the circumstances and edition availability.

12. Cancellations and Returns

Because many collector works are limited-edition or made to order, all completed artwork sales are generally final except where otherwise required by law or expressly agreed to by JFP in writing.

Once custom production, printing, framing, or fulfillment has begun, an order generally cannot be canceled because of a change of mind.

This policy does not limit any rights a collector may have under applicable law regarding materially defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods.

13. Copyright and Reproduction Rights

Purchasing an artwork means purchasing the physical artwork, not the copyright to the underlying photograph.

Unless expressly transferred through a separate written agreement, all copyright, reproduction, licensing, publishing, merchandising, commercial-use, and derivative-work rights remain with Jordi-Lakeem Foster and/or the applicable rights holder.

Collectors may display the physical artwork for personal purposes.

Ownership does not authorize the collector to reproduce the photograph, create prints or merchandise from it, license it to third parties, use it commercially, or otherwise exploit the underlying image.

14. Resale

Collectors may resell or transfer ownership of a legitimately purchased physical artwork, subject to applicable law.

The transfer of the physical artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Collectors are encouraged to transfer the original Certificate of Authenticity and relevant provenance documentation with the artwork so its history can remain properly documented.

JFP does not guarantee the future resale value, market value, appreciation, or liquidity of any artwork.

15. Artist and Exhibition Records

JFP may maintain internal records identifying artworks, editions, transactions, Certificates of Authenticity, and related provenance information.

These records help protect the integrity of the editions and assist with future authentication or provenance inquiries.

Collector personal information will be handled in accordance with the Where Things Meet Privacy Policy.

16. No Investment Representation

Artwork is offered for its artistic and collectible value.

Neither JFP DreamWorks LLC nor Jordi-Lakeem Foster represents or guarantees that an artwork will increase in value or generate a financial return.

Nothing communicated through Where Things Meet should be interpreted as investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.

17. Errors and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information regarding artwork availability, edition status, specifications, and pricing.

If an administrative or technical error results in an artwork or edition being offered when it is unavailable, JFP may cancel the affected transaction and refund amounts paid for that unavailable work.

We will not knowingly issue duplicate edition numbers within the same designated numbered edition.

18. Relationship to Other Website Terms

These Collector Terms supplement the Where Things Meet Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

If there is a conflict between these Collector Terms and the general Terms of Use concerning an artwork transaction, these Collector Terms will govern that transaction.

19. Governing Law

These Collector Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in these Collector Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection law.
